Solid board is an ancestor of all types of modern wooden flooring.
Solid parquet board differs from the ordinary parquet board because it is a whole (not glued) board made of solid wood, while the ordinary parquet board is made of 2 or 3 layers glued together.
Solid parquet board is reliable, durable and natural flooring. Life time of the solid board reaches 80 years (cf. to laminate: 8-15 years)
Distinctive features of the solid board are as follows:
Technical features
Solid board is divided into three grades according to its quality: «А», «В» and «С». We would like to emphasize that all the grades of lamellas go through the same production cycle, are manufactured from the same batch of raw materials, are dried in the same drying room till the same humidity, sawn using the same machine. Gradation takes place at the stage of sorting of readymade products. Criteria of sorting are the flaws of wood and flaws that appeared during the process of manufacturing: knots, sapwood, color variation etc. Grounds for labeling lamellas as one grade or another are the standards of sorting. There is no single standard, every customer defines his own standards of sorting.
Rift and slash sawing. Packed together or separately (as a customer wants it to be).
Hermetic packing includes 28 pieces (the quantity can be changed).
Shrink wrapping (tied up with polymeric tape inside).
It is delivered on pallets.
