Euro lining – is a modern type of lining – material for interior and exterior surface finish.

Euro lining is a simple facing board, manufactured with a tongue-and-groove joint. The difference of Euro lining from the simple lining is not the place of manufacturing but the European standard, notably the thickness of the board should be 12,5 mm, width without tongue should be 88mm including tongue – 96 mm. Increased tongue of Euro lining allows to exclude the appearance of slots and gaps when the humidity changes. Lengthwise grooves, so called airways, allow preventing the sweating.

In consideration of the Euro lining features, we can assert that it is hard to find a better material for interior finish of saunas. You can also use it for exterior and interior finish of cottages and country houses.

Euro lining is produced of different species of wood, the most economical of which is softwood.

Lining is an ecological material that is produced of whole timber. Preserving all the useful properties of the wood, lining is not only a decoration which gives a beautiful appearance, evens the walls visually etc., but also makes the house more “lively” – regulates the humidity in the room and creates favourable atmosphere.

Treated Euro lining won’t lose its appearance in min 10 Years. Due to its special shape and small width there’s no danger of shrinkage and slots.

Softwood Euro lining is manufactured in the following sizes:

• Thickness: 12,14,16,19 mm
• Width: up to 170 mm including the tongue
• Length: up to 5000 mm 

The price depends in the first place on the grades and thickness.

Euro lining is divided into three grades according to its quality: «А», «В» and «С». We would like to emphasize that all the grades of lamellas go through the same production cycle, are manufactured from the same batch of raw materials, are dried in the same drying room till the same humidity, sawn using the same machine. Gradation takes place at the stage of sorting of readymade products. Criteria of sorting are the flaws of wood and flaws that appeared during the process of manufacturing: knots, sapwood, color variation etc. Grounds for labeling lamellas as one grade or another are the standards of sorting. There is no single standard, every customer defines his own standards of sorting.
